MSU vs. Duke Watch Party
The men’s basketball team is on a roll, and we’re keeping the momentum going! Join the West Michigan Spartans on Saturday, December 6 at 12:00pm at Grand Woods Lounge (Cedar Room) as we come together to cheer on MSU in a marquee matchup against a top-10 ranked Duke team.
Bring your Spartan spirit, enjoy great company, and catch all the action surrounded by fellow alumni and fans. There’s no cost to attend (just pay for your own food and drinks), but we kindly ask that you register in advance so we can plan for seating.

Enlighten at Meijer Gardens
ENLIGHTEN is an entrancing winter spectacle where art, light and nature meld in spectacular harmony. This immersive experience features cutting-edge light installations choreographed to captivating music, enhanced by interactive elements that allow guests to engage with the displays.
The breathtaking 1-mile route is designed to rival the world’s most iconic holiday displays through a truly magical outdoor experience.
On their journey, guests will encounter masterpieces by legendary artists. This dramatic interplay of light and sculpture redefines the boundaries of artistic expression and holiday celebration.
The West Michigan Spartans have time slots from 5:30–9:30 PM on Monday, December 8. We’ll be offering four staggered start times—5:45, 6:30, 7:15, and 8:00 PM—for those who would like to walk through the gardens with fellow Spartans. Guests are also welcome to go on their own anytime during our time slot if none of these times work, or if they prefer to explore independently.
Before beginning your journey, stop by the Spartan tent to meet up with a crew to walk with and pick up your glow necklace.
